YOU KNOW THAT READING THE BIBLE IS IMPORTANT BUT WHENEVER YOU OPEN YOUR BIBLE YOU FIND YOURSELF READING THE SAME PASSAGES OVER AND OVER AGAIN. AND WHEN YOU READ SOMETHING NEW, IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE.

If you want to understand the Bible better, this is an event you won't want to miss.
There's a lot of misunderstandings when it comes to understanding the Bible
MYTH #1: You need to be a scholar to really know the Bible
It may seem that you need some sort of graduate degree to understand such a book that can feel intimidating. But the great thing about scholars is that they can help you understand the Bible better. Scholars continually study the Bible and make that knowledge available to you. Their hard work makes it easier for you to understand the Bible. So you don't need to be a scholar to really know the Bible.
MYTH #2: You need to know Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek to read the Bible
Although the original writings of the Bible were in the languages of Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, today's English translations are very close to the original writings. And each year, the scholarship becomes better so that better English translations are made available. Thus, you don't need to know Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek to read the Bible.
MYTH #3: It takes hours and hours of studying the Bible to understand it
Most times people will open the Bible, read a passage, then ask, "How does this apply to me?" and that's enough for them. But to get a better and deeper understanding of the Bible will require some effort. The good news is that there are some really good books written by scholars who have poured in the hours needed to understand the Bible and those scholars have written books so you can understand the Bible better.
The Bottom Line: It doesn't take much to get a grasp of the Bible.
You start with a strong foundation and go from there. This summit will help you get a strong foundation.
